Job Summary
Prepare outbound shipments, create shipping labels and documentation, and coordinate carrier pickups while maintaining accurate records. Load, unload, move, and pack products using material handling equipment such as forklifts, walkies, and cranes, ensuring all items are stored safely. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, interpret shipping schedules, and analyze activities to suggest process improvements. Work a dedicated weekend day shift from 6:00am to 6:00pm, Friday through Sunday, with a $4.00 hourly shift premium. This role supports Tigercat Industries' inventory control function within a heavy manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping / receiving within a heavy manufacturing environment
- Experience operating a crane and forklift, or willingness to learn
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Dedicated Weekend Day Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm, Friday – Sunday
