Shipper/Reciever

Job Summary
Shipper/Receiver responsible for accurate and efficient management of incoming/outgoing shipments. Manually load/unload materials, put away materials, prepare and schedule shipments with carriers, perform forklift checks, manage inventory of shipping supplies, and conduct quality audits on shipped goods. Requires experience with material handling equipment and online shipping/tracking, proficiency in Microsoft Office, attention to detail, and adherence to safety programs and applicable regulations. Must have at least two years of shipping/receiving experience and ability to communicate effectively in English; overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ working experience in shipping and receiving role is required
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck
- Experience in online shipping, tracking, and receiving with FedEx, UPS, Purolator and DHL
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Detail oriented with good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Safety-conscious with willingness to adhere to safety policies
