Job Summary
Shipper/Receiver responsible for shipping outgoing material, including packaging, labeling shipping containers, and coordinating pick-up by transport companies. Provides direction and training as required. Requires experience in inventory control, checking purchase orders, and operating power equipment (forklift/High Stacker). Must have high school education, WHMIS/TDG training, forklift certification, and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to work both independently and in a team. Position involves bending, lifting (up to 55 lbs, pallets up to 2,100 lbs), and adherence to WHMIS/TDG regulations; in-person day shift with 7.75 daily hours.
Required Qualifications
- Complete high school education (Manitoba Standards)
- Inventory management experience
- Basic computer skills
- WHMIS training and TDG knowledge
- Forklift license and/or Low Lift Pallet Mover certificate
- Annual WHMIS and TDG certification updates
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Strong mathematical and record-keeping skills
- Criminal Records Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check
