Job Summary
Maintain inventory for construction materials, small tools, and products while serving as the primary contact for all yard assets. Inspect returned equipment to ensure working conditions and store materials in an orderly, safe manner that maximizes space utility. Coordinate material delivery to job sites using a scheduling system, track resources, and manage logistics in and out of the yard. Maintain accurate inventory records, provide performance reports, and keep the property surrounding the office and shop organized through weed and litter control. Work independently in a busy environment, handling routine maintenance operations and outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Able to work independently in a busy environment.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Highly flexible with strong people skills.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
- Computer literate.
- Physical ability to lift to 50lb.
- Travel to off-site locations may be required.
- Safety equipment, e.g., steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses or goggles will be required.
- Overtime as required.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Indoor and outdoor work.
- May be exposed to construction sites.
