Job Summary
This 1st-shift onsite role handles both shipping and receiving across the facility, including contacting carriers, completing RFTs, manual and bulk shipping, and international shipments (documentation, AES, working with freight forwarders). Responsibilities include preparing and printing shipping labels, operating a forklift, processing orders per QA and customer requirements, supporting Customer Service with manifests, bids, and tracking, maintaining COO/customer spreadsheets, daily audits of shipments in UPS WorldShip and QAD, ensuring SOX-compliant shipment approvals, receiving inbound materials, executing direct/indirect material postings in MRP, escalating supply chain issues, maintaining a FIFO material flow, 5S upkeep, and collaborating with the Materials department on inbound scheduling. The role requires the ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, read documents, wear PPE, and work onsite at the Export, PA location, with potential overtime. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Proficient computer user
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete required pre-employment testing
- Must be able to obtain a tow motor license and operate all tow motors within the plant
