Job Summary
Ensure goods shipped and received are accurate, orders are packed and processed correctly, and freight is loaded and unloaded safely. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move raw materials and finished goods while following all safety rules. Document and maintain accurate shipping records, including bills of lading, and participate in inventory procedures and cycle counts. Identify and provide recommendations for any issues or non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems. Clean and maintain assigned areas. Cross-train on other production functions as business needs dictate. Prior forklift experience and shipping software familiarity are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience driving a forklift and maintaining documentation preferred
- Familiarity with shipping software preferred
