Job Summary
Shipper Receiver role handling shipping documents, forklift operation, inventory control, cycle counting, and material flow coordination; requires travel across Canada and the US; location Cambridge, ON with a dedicated day shift (8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday). Responsibilities include preparing bills of lading and invoices, operating a forklift, reviewing paperwork, loading/unloading, inventory control, cycle counting, issuing and tracking parts, entering orders, and coordinating with purchasing and project managers to support production schedules. Skills highlighted include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, MS Office proficiency, data entry, blueprints reading, math for counts and scheduling, and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems; prior shipping/receiving and inventory management experience are assets.
