Job Summary
As a Shipper/Receiver, you will ship, receive, and stock finished goods to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities include completing shipments using ERP/tablet, pulling/packaging/palletizing products, ensuring incoming/outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards, receiving and rotating inventory, and creating documents such as shipping labels, packing lists, and bills of lading. Maintain a clean work environment and perform other duties as assigned. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, forklift certification, DOT HazMat training, and ~1 year of warehouse/shipping experience. You must be able to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, reach truck, order picker, electric pallet jack), communicate effectively across departments, and uphold safety and quality standards. The position is full-time, graveyard shift in Kent, WA, with relocation not available; benefits and bonus/commission opportunities are offered.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire)
- D.O.T. HazMat Training required (will certify at hire)
- 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required
- Equipment: Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack
- Safety: Ability to prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment
- Mathematical Reasoning: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiple and divide with 10’s and 100’s
