Job Summary
The Operations Shipping/Receiving employee is responsible for assisting with the receipt of incoming white wood and treated trucks and verifying the product on outgoing trucks, including completion of load documents and tallying. This role requires participation in safety training, compliance with health and safety policies, performing quality inspections on received materials, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and good communication skills, along with the ability to work in various environments and lift up to 50lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Loader experience preferred
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
- Good manual dexterity
- Attention to details
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to stand/walk for significant periods of time
- Comfortable completing repetitive tasks
