Job Summary
Complete shipments using the ERP system and/or tablet, pulling, packaging, and palletizing products to fulfill customer orders. Receive, stock, and rotate finished inventory while identifying, tagging, and locating items. Create and apply shipping labels, packing lists, and bills of lading for each pallet. Maintain a clean work environment and operate equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. This full-time position in Billings, MT, requires High School Diploma or GED, Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification, and D.O.T. HazMat Training. Candidates must demonstrate safe work practices, mathematical reasoning, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification
- D.O.T. HazMat Training
- 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment
- Ability to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance in accordance with our attendance policy
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiple and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to follow both written and oral instructions, including safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies
- Ability to speak in the most effective way to relay information to all departments and at all levels within the organization
- Ability to listen and ask questions to ensure understanding
- Demonstration of an understanding of company quality standards and company quality control processes
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to work with other team members to accomplish group goals
- Ability to multi task and take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
