Job Summary
Complete shipments using the ERP system and/or tablet, then pull, package, and palletize products for outgoing orders. Receive, stock, and rotate incoming inventory while ensuring all shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards. Create and apply shipping documents, including labels and bills of lading, and maintain a clean work environment. Operate industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Work a Monday through Friday shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime as needed in Gallatin, TN.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment
- Ability to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance in accordance with our attendance policy
- Ability to Work Independently: Follow both written and oral instructions, including safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies
- Ability to prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiple and divide with 10's and 100's
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience
- Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack
- Demonstrate an understanding of company quality standards and company quality control processes
- Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to multitask and take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Apply customer service principles and processes on the job and with others
- Ability to work with other team members to accomplish group goals
- Speak in the most effective way to relay information to all departments and at all levels within the organization
- Listen and ask questions to ensure understanding
