Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and store all food and beverage products in fridges, freezers, and dry storage areas while ensuring correct FIFO rotation. Unload delivery trucks, maintain accurate inventory counts through daily and weekly spot checks, and participate in full inventory counts as scheduled. Follow Alberta safe food handling guidelines, including daily temperature log recordkeeping, and keep all storage and receiving areas clean and organized. Support smooth resort operations through accurate and timely order fulfillment and distribution while maintaining a safe working environment. Perform additional duties as assigned and proactively report any safety concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of meeting the demands of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 80 lbs, and pushing carts
- Comfortable using computers and various software systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately read, interpret, and complete orders
- Knowledge of food service operations and health and safety procedures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining organization and efficiency
- Must be able to lift up to 15 kilograms and push up to 50 kilograms as required in various tasks
- Ability to work in varying temperatures throughout the day (both indoor and outdoor environments)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (or better)
- Professional deportment with excellent customer service skills
- Experience working collaboratively with co-workers across departments
- Cheerful, outgoing personality
- Demonstrated ability to remain composed in highly stressful and fast-paced situations
- Strong team player with the ability to take direction and work independently when required
- Motivated and observant; able to identify tasks proactively and complete them without direct supervision
- Self-aware; able to identify strengths and areas for development and respond positively to training
- Able to apply previous experience and learned skills to problem-solve effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or inventory management experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of procurement software and invoicing processes considered an asset
- Ability to ski or snowboard blue runs (considered an asset for resort access and movement between operational areas)
