Job Summary
Operate an industrial forklift to receive, transfer, store, and retrieve goods while rotating stock using FIFO practices. Retrieve designated products for shipment, ensuring proper loading and sealing, and use a handheld scan gun/RFGEN for lot tracking to maintain accurate inventory. Perform minor equipment service, complete daily safety inspections, and change batteries or refuel as needed. Maintain the dock and work area in a clean condition, create product labels, and enter daily reports into the computer program. Work Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11:59pm to 6am in D2 shifts, lifting up to 75 lbs and adhering to PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Operates an industrial sized forklift
- Must be able to climb on and off of the forklift
- Must be able to back fork-lift up safely
- Must be able to lift and stack up to 75 lbs from floor to crown
- Must be able to sit and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds multiple times daily
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures both hot and cold
- Must be able to work in wet, dry, dusty environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a company issued forklift license
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Knowledge of Julian calendar
- Knowledge of FIFO practices
- Knowledge of military time
- Knowledge of RFGEN
- Knowledge of JDE
- Basic computer literacy
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Perform basic math
- Shift: D2 -Shift
- Hours: Wed 11:59pm-6a, Thu-Sat 6p-6a
