Job Summary
Process shipments as delivered, ticket and stock merchandise, and organize stockroom departments to ensure aisles remain clear and merchandise is stored per Company standards. Maintain accurate inventory records by processing paperwork for store-to-store transfers, receiving logs, discrepancies, and returns. Direct merchandise flow from stock room to sales floor, sweep and clean the stockroom, and complete daily agenda tasks. May supervise and train stock associates while assisting on the sales floor as needed. Ensure all stockroom procedures are followed to minimize loss and comply with Company Policy. Full-time associates are expected to have open availability to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years stockroom experience
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Valid driver's license (where applicable)
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday)
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic product knowledge preferred
- Effective planning and time management skills to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
