Job Summary
Receive and process incoming stock by matching quantities to shipping documents, then prepare outbound shipping documents and package, label, and ship customer orders while verifying accuracy. Inspect items for defects, report damage to management, and replenish inventory in designated bins. Cross-train to support delivery drivers, secure cargo, and occasionally deliver parts using company vehicles. May receive, sort, and organize worn brake shoe cores for remanufacturing. Work Saturdays on a rotational schedule with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of general warehouse experience, shipping and receiving, or order picker experience using an RF Scanner or barcode gun
- high school diploma or other equivalency certificate
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Lift up to 75-100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers
- Must be available to work Saturdays on a rotational schedule and overtime to meet business demands
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
- Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating a forklift, using an RF scanner, and familiarity with aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts
- A valid driver's license and a recent driver's abstract demonstrating no major infractions
