Shipper Receiver

Shipper/Receiver is responsible for organizing the shipping & receiving department, labeling parts for shipping documents, making transportation/trucking arrangements, checking shipments against bills of lading/invoices/purchase orders, inspecting shipments for damage, recording details, verifying part numbers and quantities to be shipped, generating packing slips, coordinating forklift and truck maintenance, building shipment skids and proper packaging, shipping control documents and packing slips, maintaining incoming/outgoing inspections, coordinating inventory movement, receiving inventory, expediting material through the Visual system, working with Quality Assurance to inspect incoming/outgoing parts, and maintaining/cleaning/organizing the yard. The role requires knowledge of hazardous goods and truck regulations, forklift driving, crane operation, and ERP/Visual Manufacturing, with strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
