Job Summary
Prepare items for shipment by moving bread and bun stacks to the shipping dock using a two-wheel car and breaking down product stacks. Unload semi-trailers, route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with the lead to rectify issues. Efficiently work within a busy dispatch department and collaborate with the shipping team to complete orders timely. Requires constant standing, walking on concrete floors, and frequent lifting and moving of items up to 50 lbs. Schedule is 9 pm to 5 am CST with attendance required for a 24/7 depot facility. Reliable transportation is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have attendance to meet employer's attendance standards for 24/7 depot facility
- Worker must be able to constantly stand and walk on concrete floors and trailer beds
- Must be able to frequently push/pull transport racks and bread trays
- Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, reach, lift, and carry
- Must be able to frequently handle and grasp bakery product trays, transport racks and boxes
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs
