Job Summary
Operate shipping equipment to load, unload, transport, and store materials into trailers. Prepare tickets using Oracle software and maintain internal or computerized record-keeping systems. Unpack, code, and route goods to storage areas while inspecting and verifying incoming or outgoing goods against invoices. Record shortages and reject damaged goods, and ensure all work follows Health & Safety legislation, GMP, and food safety regulations. Report equipment malfunctions and quality issues to supervisors. Collect empty trays and refill the Tray Unstacker. Work alone or as part of a team in a physically demanding environment requiring heavy lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for extended hours in a warm, humid setting.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to follow GMP & Food Safety regulations
- Physically demanding, heavy lifting, must be able to handle weight up to 40 lbs
- Repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting at a height, twisting
- Must be available for Afternoon shift; 2pm to 12:30am (10-hour shift)
- Job Type: Sat, Sun, Tues & Wed
- Must be able to work alone and as a team member
