Shipper and Receiver

Shipper and Receiver responsible for unloading merchandise from trucks using safe lifting techniques, operating forklifts and transport equipment, and organizing incoming goods in the Shipping Department. Duties include verifying quantities against documents, inspecting boxes, logging discrepancies, determining shipping methods and preparing paperwork, applying accurate packaging and labels, ensuring proper customs procedures for out-of-country shipments, and loading/unloading trucks. The role also involves picking up and delivering alterations to departments, collecting supplies, and maintaining health and safety and privacy/cyber security compliance. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience, with ability to work in a fast-paced retail logistics environment and utilize manual and computer-based record-keeping.
