Job Summary
Prepare finished product shipments to customers and miscellaneous plant items, ensuring proper identification, secure packing in shipping containers, and complete documentation including bills of lading, packing slips, and export papers. Select appropriate carriers based on customer designation, service area, package weight, and delivery urgency while meeting planned ship dates and expediting orders immediately upon receipt. Operate a forklift truck safely within 60 days of employment and lift up to 70 pounds repetitively. This 1st shift role is 100% on-site in Danielson, CT for a global manufacturer of engineered metal fasteners.
