Job Summary
Operate manual and powered industrial equipment to receive, pick, pack, stock, and ship products across the distribution center. Unload materials from vendors, stack and store inventory, and transfer goods between staging areas and trucks. Maintain a safe work environment by reporting hazards, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, and ensuring good housekeeping. Work Monday through Thursday from 5:30 am to 4 pm, lifting items weighing 10 to 55 pounds and standing for six to ten hours daily. Complete Sally Beauty Lift Truck Training certification to operate forklifts efficiently and safely.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to adjust to change and interruptions
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Must be able to become certified through the Sally Beauty Lift Truck Training Program in order to efficiently and safely operate a forklift within the time frame specified by Leadership
- Must be able to lift 10 to 55 pounds
- Must be able to stand/walk for 6 to 10 hours a day
- Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience preferred in a distribution/warehouse environment or equivalent work experience including the operation of heavy equipment
