Shift Team Leader

Shift Team Leader responsible for leading safety-focused shift operations across the Biron Division of ND Paper, providing supervision to production crews, administering the labor agreement and mill policies, mentoring and developing self-sufficient autonomous teams, coordinating training and materials, leading incident investigations, prioritizing maintenance, and driving improvements in safety, quality, cost, and productivity. The role requires coaching and developing team members to be technically skilled and accountable, collaborating with area managers, engineers, HR Technical Trainer, and other stakeholders to optimize processes, and delivering effective on-shift problem solving and decision-making training. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in pulp and paper, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering or have at least three years of supervisory experience in paper mill operations. Strong leadership, communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
