Job Summary
Lead shop operations as the on-duty supervisor during assigned shifts, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards, recipes, and operating procedures. Assign tasks, manage workflow, and monitor production, service flow, and staffing levels while addressing operational issues and escalating concerns as appropriate. Serve as the designated Person in Charge for food safety, enforcing sanitation regulations, monitoring temperatures, and taking corrective action when standards are not met. Provide direction to team members, resolve guest concerns, and ensure shop cleanliness across production, guest areas, and restrooms. Follow cash handling procedures and loss prevention protocols while modeling professionalism and positive leadership behaviors. Work flexible schedules including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- Previous food service, retail, or hospitality experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to lead and direct team members during a shift
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to maintain awareness of shop operations and priorities
- Ability to make timely decisions and address issues during the shift
- Ability to follow and enforce food safety and operational procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to manage normal workplace stress
- Standing and walking for extended periods during the shift
- Lifting and carrying ranges: 0–10 lbs: Frequent; 11–25 lbs: Occasional to Frequent; 26–50 lbs: Occasional with assistance; 51–75 lbs: Seldom; team-lift only
- Pushing and pulling approximately 10–40 lbs of force occasionally
- Frequent use of hands for repetitive tasks and equipment operation
- Variable schedules including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Exposure to heat (production areas), noise, wet or slippery surfaces, and cleaning chemicals
