Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in social services, criminology or related field or equivalent experience
- Valid N.Y.S Security Guard License
- Fire Guard License
- Certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI)
Desired Qualifications
- General knowledge of security systems
- Knowledge of video surveillance and fire detection/alarm notification systems
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions based on factual information
- Flexibility on days and hours of availability
- Owner of a vehicle and knowledge of public transportation system
