Job Summary
Oversee daily restaurant operations by supervising the front-line team, managing breaks and shifts, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Lead staff through coaching and feedback while monitoring guest satisfaction, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining high standards for food quality and cleanliness. Handle financial responsibilities including accurate cash handling, register operations, and adjusting staffing levels to control labor costs. Make quick decisions to address operational challenges and report issues to management. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service
- Supervisory or leadership role experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks
- Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment
- Awareness of temperature fluctuations and safe practices
- Adaptability to different environments (indoor and outdoor)
- Awareness of potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
