Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at Fazoli’s oversees daily restaurant operations during the assigned shift, leads and coaches front-line team, ensures exceptional guest experience and service quality, monitors food preparation and sanitation, manages cash handling and scheduling, and supports management in achieving business goals. Responsibilities include supervising team performance, maintaining company policies, optimizing labor, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality, resolving customer concerns, and communicating effectively with management and staff. Key skills include leadership, customer service, clear communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and a focus on operational efficiency and food safety.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
- A background in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
- Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required by the role
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly as part of job duties
- Experience in cash handling and operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Customer service excellence and problem-solving abilities
- Multitasking and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service
- Ability to train and develop staff
