Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at CAMBA's Kings Inn Family Shelter leads on-site operations, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, manages client flow and staff, conducts client orientation within 24 hours of entry, maintains security and inventory, utilizes DHS CARES data entry, coordinates day-to-day programming and documentation, prepares reports for management and funders, and supports program goals through performance management and trainings. Must remain on-site during shifts, supervise direct reporting staff, and respond to incidents and emergencies; a combination of supervisory duties and hands-on program oversight with emphasis on client care, staff development, and compliance. Bi-lingual preferred; certifications in First Aid/CPR, overdose prevention, F-80 Fire Safety Coordinator, and CPI are required.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED and 3 years applicable experience, or AA and 2 years applicable experience, or BA/BSW and/or equivalent experience
- Must obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR certification
- Must obtain and maintain certification in overdose prevention
- Must obtain and maintain F-80 Fire Safety Coordinator certification
- Must obtain and maintain CPI (Crisis Prevention) certified
- Bi-lingual preferred
- F-80 required
