Job Summary
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers while directing subordinates on duty performance and cross-training them for site efficiency. Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders, ensure contract compliance through regular inspections, and maintain overtime levels to predefined targets. Produce productivity and cost reduction recommendations for management, suggest physical security surveys, and manage personnel actions for your team. Review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparing security surveys, and ensure all required training and screening elements are met. Full-time schedule with a valid CA Guard card required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CA Guard card
- Full time schedule
- At least 2 years of Security experience
- Supervisory experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current and valid driver's license
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Service in auxiliary police or police cadets
- Minimum of one (1) year verifiable and successful security experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating ability to maintain poise and self-control during emergency situations
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating capability of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, and of composing reports
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating effective oral and written communication skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating planning and organizing skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating problem solving skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating coaching, mentoring, motivating skills
