Job Summary
Oversee plant operators to ensure peak performance, safety, and efficiency by administering lockout/tagout procedures, responding to alarms, and managing shutdown/startup processes. Supervise inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including the handling of hazardous materials. Manage personnel responsibilities such as training, performance appraisal, conflict resolution, and maintaining a secure work environment. This role supports the 85 megawatt facility in Kennerdell, Pennsylvania, which converts bituminous mining refuse into energy using circulating fluidized bed boiler technology.
