Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at Sonoco in Holyoke, MA leading safety, quality, productivity, and material handling on the assigned shift. Direct production scheduling to meet customer demands, manage overtime, minimize inventory, and reduce costs. Guide continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools (SPS, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and mentor hourly staff through training and development; provide direction and discipline as needed. Identify and implement capital projects to improve operational performance and maintain productive relationships to foster employee engagement and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science and engineering - strongly preferred
- 2+ years supervisory experience

- Bachelor’s degree in business, science or engineering preferred
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience with safety processes and manufacturing best practices
- Experience with lean manufacturing tools (SPS, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
