Shift Supervisor, Shipping & Receiving - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Lead daily receiving operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely material receipt from suppliers and carriers. Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips, then inspect, label, and stage items for inventory or point-of-use locations. Identify and resolve discrepancies, shortages, and damages while coordinating with Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams. Enforce safety policies, material handling standards, and regulatory compliance across all inbound activities. Train and coach team members on standard work, safety practices, and quality expectations. Monitor key performance metrics including receipt accuracy, dock efficiency, and incident rates to reduce dock-to-stock time. Maintain organized receiving areas to support inventory accuracy and safety. Operate onsite in Miamisburg, Ohio, with a 2nd shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations
- Strong ERP Experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Solid understanding of material handling equipment and warehouse safety practices
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Regular lifting up to 25 lbs
- occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or relevant technical training
- Prior supervisory or lead experience
- Demonstrated experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Proven ability to lead teams with accountability for safety, quality, and throughput results
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, inventory transactions, and material flow processes
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
