Job Summary
Conduct ongoing individual supervisory meetings, building inspections, and performance feedback for residential aides and community coordinators. Coordinate work schedules, timesheets, and assignments while evaluating documentation such as Security and Maintenance logs. Manage fire safety by leading training on evacuation procedures, organizing monthly drills, and performing periodic hazard checks on alarm panels and extinguishers. Fulfill administrative duties including completing intakes, incident reports, and visitor logs, while directing clients to appropriate staff. Assist with new family arrivals and apartment turnovers. Maintain appropriate staff-client boundaries and communicate incident observations to facility leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 2 – 3 years of experience in Security or Building Maintenance
- Experience in office management and/or staff supervision
- Experience working in a large residential/institutional setting with a special needs population
- Strong writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- F-80 certification within 6 months of employment
- CPR certification
- NYS Driver's License
- Bilingual ability
