Job Summary
Ensure person-centered care by monitoring adherence to individual service plans and promoting the independence of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Supervise Direct Support Professionals during shifts, instructing on best practices while managing agency funds, facility safety, and staff scheduling. Provide supervisory counseling, discipline, and support for staff needs, ensuring compliance with OPWDD policies and reporting all incidents. Maintain optimal resource utilization and facilitate participation in meaningful activities like vocation and recreation. Serve as a role model to both staff and supported individuals, ensuring a positive climate of respect and dignity throughout the program.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or approved equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Intellectual Disabilities/IDD or related field
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- SCIP-R
- CPR & First Aid
- AMAP certification
