Job Summary
Provide habilitation services to individuals as prescribed in their service plans, including activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation, and socialization. Assist clients with skill development, administer medication in compliance with policies, and ensure nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diets. Report immediately any observed deficiencies, abuse, or facility safety issues to management. This Direct Support Professional role is located at our Valentine Ave program in the Bronx, offering flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 403(b).
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Driver's license
- Must be able to pass insurance criteria
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- One year's experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons
- AMAP certification
- SCIP-R certification
- CPR & First Aid certification
