Job Summary
Supervise and instruct all Direct Support professionals on shift, ensuring active treatment is provided to individuals with developmental disabilities while maintaining consumer safety and rights. Oversee the overall functioning of the facility during the absence of the Program Director and Assistant Program Director, including monitoring the physical condition of the residence and agency vehicles. Manage client and agency funds and expenditures during the shift, ensuring appropriate follow-up to medication administration and after client medical appointments. This role operates Friday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at a Bronx program. The Shift Supervisor must hold a valid driver's license with a clean record and possess AMAP, SCIP-R, and CPR/First Aid training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or approved equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in MR/DD or related field
- Valid Driver's license with clean record subject to Agency's insurance review and approval
- AMAP trained
- SCIP-R trained
- CPR & First AID Trained
- Friday - Saturday 11:00 - 7:00 am
