Job Summary
Supervise and instruct all Direct Support Professionals on shift while ensuring active treatment is provided to individuals with developmental disabilities. Monitor the overall functioning of the facility during the absence of the Program Director and Assistant Program Director, maintaining the physical condition of the residence and agency vehicles in a safe, sanitary state. Manage client and agency funds and expenditures during the shift, including petty cash, client monies, and recreation funds. Ensure appropriate follow-up to medication administration during shifts and after client medical appointments. This role supports people with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a safe environment at our Palmer Avenue location in the Bronx.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Approved Equivalent
- Minimum of three years experience in Intellectually/Developmentally Disabled or related field
- AMAP trained
- SCIP-R trained
- CPR & First AID Trained
- Valid NYS Driver's license
- Must be able to pass insurance criteria
