Job Summary
Monitor adherence to individualized service plans and ensure active support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Supervise Direct Support Professionals during shifts, instructing staff on best practices and managing agency funds and expenditures. Maintain facility safety and sanitation, including vehicle upkeep and fire drill completion, while ensuring optimal resource utilization. Provide supervisory counseling and discipline to staff as needed, and report all incidents in accordance with OPWDD and agency policies. Ensure coverage for absent staff and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss shift issues and successes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or approved equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Intellectual Disabilities/IDD or related field
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- SCIP-R
- CPR & First Aid
- AMAP certification
