Job Summary
Shift Supervisor oversees 7-10 floor staff during shifts, assigning placement positions to meet operational needs and ensure coverage for a positive guest experience. Responsibilities include monitoring staff and guest satisfaction, mediating conflicts, providing first-contact guest service (inquiries, refunds, discounts), serving as escalation point for guest concerns, maintaining museum cleanliness, performing tours for prospective group events upon request, and handling opening/closing tasks with daily checklists. The role also involves leading one of the rot roles (Operations Admin Supervisor, Retail Supervisor, or Guest Services Supervisor) and supporting administrative tasks, vendor quote processes, onboarding new hires, inventory and shop standards, and guest-service excellence. Requires weekend and holiday work and 2+ years of supervisory and customer-facing experience; strong organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work under pressure.
