Job Summary
Oversee daily production by ensuring employees adhere to health and safety requirements, meeting quality specifications, KPIs, and deadlines. Coordinate crews to maintain safe and efficient operations, manage rework and scrap products, and drive resource optimization. Enforce strict safety rules, environmental policies, and housekeeping routines while entering Good Catches into the reporting database. Manage Line and/or PSM departments to follow production schedules, communicate shift events, and lead daily Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings. Coach and train the team, create detailed shift reports, and coordinate emergency responses to ensure crew safety and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of production supervisory experience
- University or Technical College graduate
- Elevated Safety and Quality standards
- Sound understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Experience working with a unionized workforce
- Exceptional communication and team-building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good people development and training skills
- Drive, commitment, self-motivation and high energy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful work situations
- Must be able and willing to work both day and night shifts
- 12-hour shifts - Days and Nights - 7:00 – 7:00
- Must be available for rotating schedule of 3 days on and 3 days off
