Job Summary
The Shift Supervisor at Rock Spot Climbing oversees day-to-day gym operations, ensures exceptional customer service, drives sales by matching guests with products and services, supervises floor staff, maintains safety and cleanliness, opens/closes the facility, handles administrative tasks across computer platforms, and supports in marketing signage and social media updates. Requires leadership experience, customer-service and retail skills, basic computer proficiency, an outgoing personality, and the ability to manage floor operations and safety protocols; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and promoting a positive climbing experience for members and guests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Previous indoor rock climbing experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Detail oriented and organized
- Punctual and reliable
- Customer service experience
- Retail/sales experience
- Able to perform all floor staff functions
- Basic computer skills
- Outgoing, friendly personality
