Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at Reworld responsible for safe, efficient facility operation during assigned shift, including monitoring boilers, turbine and steam plant; oversee plant personnel, ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental permits; direct or perform emergency operations as needed; approve maintenance and equipment removal requests; troubleshoot plant issues; train and manage a motivated, cross-trained workforce; requires 5+ years in power/resource recovery plant operations, HS Diploma/GED, and ASME QRO provisional/site-specific operator license; 12-hour shift schedule with day/night rotations and weekend/holiday coverage; must be able to walk, stand, climb, lift 50 lbs, and work in confined spaces; salary range $118,700–$169,800 USD; benefits include health care, 401k, paid time off, parental leave, disability, tuition reimbursement, and employee referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 5 years or more of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations
- ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license
- Knowledge of steam generating power stations and control systems
- Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and training abilities
