Job Summary
Lead shift activities by ensuring team members deliver exceptional customer service, follow brand standards, and adhere to food safety protocols. Manage daily operations including opening and closing procedures, POS transactions, and cash handling compliance. Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, cooking, and stocking while actively cross-selling products to travelers. Train new hires and resolve customer complaints with a friendly, outgoing demeanor. Maintain knowledge of all available food options across the 80+ travel plazas in the Northeast and Midwest. Available for flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Cash handling and customer service experience
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- The ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
- The ability to converse comfortably with customers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
