Job Summary
Operate and troubleshoot blow/injection molding and downstream equipment while leading RedZone performance metrics and technician accountability. Prioritize staffing and material staging to optimize safety and efficiency, then identify and escalate maintenance needs via work order systems. Lead from the floor by coaching team members, managing labor planning, and holding personnel accountable through real-time performance management. Drive participation in continuous improvement, safety programs, and 6S initiatives while overseeing onboarding and compliance with Food Safety and GMP standards. Monitor performance data to improve uptime and reduce scrap, collaborating cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, and Human Development teams to address shift-level challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1–3 years of leadership in manufacturing
- 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership without a degree
- plastics experience
- Experience leading CI programs
- working with ERP/MRP systems
- Physical ability to stand
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Physical ability to work in varying temperatures
- Must be available for 4 days on / 4 days off schedule
- Must be available for 12-hour shifts
- Must be available for holidays
- Must be available for additional time for handoffs
- Must be available for additional time for team meetings
- Must be available for additional time for review/approval of timecards
