Job Summary
Shift Supervisor for Pretium Packaging in St. Charles, IL, overseeing daily shift operations, production scheduling, staffing, and quality control; ensures safety, trains and mentors new employees, analyzes processes to address bottlenecks, collaborates across departments to improve efficiency, conducts regular performance evaluations, and stays current with industry best practices to keep processes and products competitive. Must be fluent in Spanish and have 2+ years of supervisory experience in plastics manufacturing (blow/injection molding preferred); requires strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills, and availability for evening/weekend shifts; on-site, with proficiency in IQMS and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within the plastics industry (blow molding and/or injection molding experience preferred)
- bilingual candidates; ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is required
- read, write, and speak Spanish fluently
- knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes and equipment
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to manage a diverse team on the plant floor
- flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
