Job Summary
Lead shift operations by ensuring team members deliver exceptional customer service, follow brand standards, and maintain food safety compliance. Manage daily opening, closing, and POS procedures while training new hires and monitoring cash handling policies. Execute kitchen tasks including prep, cooking, and cleaning, and actively cross-sell products to travelers. Resolve customer complaints and report observations to plaza leadership. Requires cash handling experience, shift supervision background, and ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Available to Applegreen USA travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest.
Required Qualifications
- Cash handling and customer service experience
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
