Shift Supervisor

Partner with store team leaders to learn and reinforce daily operational procedures and performance expectations. Provide leadership coverage and manage management functions up to four times a week when team leaders are offsite. Assist neighbors with product selection, greet regular customers, and demonstrate operational tasks like water testing for fish tanks. Adhere to operational policies regarding cleanliness, animal care, safety, and security. Learn and perform back office procedures including making signs, updating prices, and inputting cashier records. Participate in store recruiting, onboarding, and team member development while communicating opportunities for community engagement and store performance improvement. Act as a store team member when not serving as the manager-on-duty.
