Job Summary
Shift Supervisor responsibilities include overseeing store operations during the assigned shift at a Papa Murphy's Midwest franchise location, supervising team members to ensure proper guest service and product quality as outlined in the Operations Manual, ensuring proper cash handling and security, maintaining labor guidelines and schedules, and completing opening/closing duties and shift paperwork. The role involves training and developing team members, ensuring food handling, sanitation, and safety guidelines are followed, maintaining adequate prepped product for the shift, coordinating with the supervisor on issues such as emergencies, guest complaints, equipment problems, and scheduling, and performing other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- At least six months experience in QSR environment
- Experience in cashier, counter and prep positions
- Ability to read, speak, write and communicate effectively at the work location
- Basic math skills
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with supervisors, co-workers and guests
- Movement around the store and giving direction most of the working day
- Must be able to lift pans of food or items weighing up to 30 pounds to shoulder height
