Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at a Papa Murphy's Pizza location: Supervises the assigned shift, oversees the counter, prep and cashier positions, ensures team members are in uniform and in position, conducts a store walk-through to ensure readiness, maintains guest service and product quality per the Operations Manual, safeguards cash, enforces food handling, sanitation, safety, and labor guidelines, ensures opening/closing duties and daily paperwork are completed using checklists, maintains stock of fully proofed crusts, oversees pizza proofing and timely sale, ensures adequate prepped product, communicates issues to the supervisor, handles emergencies and guest complaints, and trains/develops team members as directed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- At least six months experience in QSR environment
- Experience at cashier, counter and prep positions
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to read, speak, write and communicate effectively at the work location
- Must be able to build and maintain positive relationships with supervisors, co-workers and guests
- Position requires movement around the store and giving direction most of the working day
- Must be able to lift pans of food or food items weighing up to 30 pounds to shoulder height
