Shift Supervisor

Job Summary
Take responsibility for the assigned shift by performing counter, prep, and cashier duties while ensuring all team members are uniformed, clocked in, and at their stations. Conduct pre-rush walk-throughs to verify the store is clean and stocked, then supervise staff to maintain guest service and product quality per the Operations Manual. Manage cash handling, enforce food safety and labor guidelines, and complete opening, closing, and daily paperwork using the POS system. Maintain adequate proofed crusts and prepped product, resolving guest complaints, equipment issues, and scheduling problems as they arise. Train team members on assigned tasks and communicate shift issues to the immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months experience in QSR environment
- Previous experience at the cashier, counter and prep person positions
- Must be able to maintain reasonable attendance at work
- Must be able to arrive at the store at the scheduled time
- Must be able to read, speak, write and communicate effectively at the work location
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to build and maintain positive relationships with supervisors, co-workers and guests
- Position requires movement around the store and giving direction most of the working day
- Required to lift pans of food or food items weighing up to 30 pounds to shoulder height
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
