Shift Supervisor

Job Summary
Conduct all facets of the assigned shift operation by performing counter, prep, and cashier duties while ensuring team members are uniformed, clocked in, and at their stations. Perform pre-rush store walk-throughs to verify cleanliness and stock readiness, then supervise staff to maintain guest service and product quality per the Operations Manual. Manage cash handling, secure funds, and ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and labor laws. Complete opening, closing, and change-of-shift duties using checklists, maintain accurate daily paperwork via the POS system, and verify adequate proofed crust supply. Resolve emergencies, guest complaints, and equipment issues per procedures, train team members, and communicate scheduling or product shortages to the immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months experience in QSR environment
- Previous experience at the cashier, counter and prep person positions
- Must be able to maintain reasonable attendance at work
- Must be able to arrive at the store at the scheduled time
- Must be able to read, speak, write and communicate effectively at the work location
- Basic math skills required
- Must be able to build and maintain positive relationships with supervisors, co-workers and guests
- Position requires movement around the store and giving direction most of the working day
- Required to lift pans of food or food items weighing up to 30 pounds to shoulder height
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
